Seicross (Japan) is a unique combination of side-scrolling racing and shoot-’em-up action, released for the NES in 1986. Riding a hoverbike, you must navigate hazardous terrain, battle rival riders, and rescue the captured Petras from the evil Basrah empire.
How to Play
The objective is to survive the treacherous obstacle courses while managing your vehicle’s energy. You must collect batteries along the way to prevent your hoverbike from running out of power. You can destroy enemy riders by shooting them or ramming them into the background scenery. The default NES controls in your browser are the Arrow Keys to steer, Z to shoot, X to accelerate, and Enter to start the game.
Tips
Conserve your firepower by bumping enemy bikes into walls or obstacles, which rewards you with points without spending energy. Keep a close eye on your energy gauge, and prioritize picking up battery power-ups over fighting when your reserves run low.
