Released for DOS in 1996 by JAST USA, Season of the Sakura is an early English-translated adult visual novel and adventure game. The player navigates branching dialogue and point-and-click interactions to build relationships with different heroines across the story.

Gameplay consists primarily of reading text and selecting choices from menus to progress the narrative and influence character routes.
