Scarabeus is an unreleased puzzle prototype for the Nintendo Entertainment System, originally planned as a port of the Game Boy title Pyramids of Ra. Though it lacks sound and color, this early build offers a fully playable look into a classic grid-based challenge that was eventually completed years later.
The objective is to clear every tile on the board without getting trapped. You must draw a single continuous line by moving your character across the grid. Each tile you step off will immediately crumble away, requiring you to plan your route carefully to ensure all tiles are destroyed before you return to the starting square. Use the Arrow Keys to navigate the board.
Tips: Always work your way from the outside edges inward to avoid accidentally cutting off sections of the board. If you find yourself completely stuck, you can enter the debug password IGORSAYSWARP to have the computer solve the current level for you.
