Saikousoku Shikou – Shougi Mahjong is a board game compilation released for the Super Famicom by Varie in 1995. Built to leverage the console’s SA-1 enhancement chip to speed up CPU thinking time, it offers a fast, straightforward simulation of both traditional Japanese games. Players simply select either Shogi or Mahjong from the main menu and face off against computer opponents.

How to Play

Choose your preferred game at the title screen. In both modes, the goal is to defeat the CPU opponent using standard Shogi or Mahjong rules. Use the D-pad to navigate the board or your tile hand, press A to confirm a move or discard, and B to cancel. In the browser emulator, the D-pad maps to your arrow keys, A maps to Z, and B maps to X.
