Game description:

S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team is a fast-paced multi-directional shoot ’em up developed by Natsume for the NES in 1991. Following an invasion by alien forces led by the supreme commander Vile Malmort, you take control of half-human, half-machine soldiers equipped with jetpacks to fly through auto-scrolling stages and halt the onslaught.

Use the D-pad (Arrow keys) to fly around the screen and avoid enemy fire. Press A or B (Z or X) to shoot your weapons and interact with your two orbiting satellite pods. These pods fire alongside you and can be locked into position to shoot in specific directions, allowing you to hit enemies approaching from above, below, or behind you.

Mastering the satellite pods is the key to surviving the game’s intense enemy waves. Lock them facing diagonally or backwards to cover your blind spots, and constantly adjust their positions to match the current threats. Keep an eye out for weapon power-ups like lasers and spread shots to upgrade your firepower.
