Game description:

Ryuuko no Ken 2 (released in the West as Art of Fighting 2) is a 1994 fighting game developed for the Super Famicom. This port of SNK’s arcade hit serves as a direct sequel to the original game, featuring a slightly-improved version of the classic mechanics. It expands the playable roster and continues the distinct spirit gauge system that defines the series.

How to Play

This SNES release uses standard controls, mapped to your keyboard in the browser (typically arrow keys to move and Z, X, A, S for punches and kicks). Managing your spirit gauge is critical, as special attacks drain it quickly. You can manually charge your own gauge by holding an attack button, or drain your opponent’s gauge by taunting.

Tips

  • Use Taunts Strategically: Taunting is an essential mechanic. If your opponent relies heavily on special attacks, drain their spirit gauge to restrict them to basic moves.
  • Desperation Moves: When your health bar flashes red and your spirit gauge is full, you can unleash a devastating hidden attack to turn the tide of a match.
