Game description:

Mega Man & Bass (originally released as Rockman & Forte in Japan) is a classic 1998 action-platformer developed by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Players must stop a new villain named King who has stolen blueprints from Dr. Wily to create an invincible robot army.

Players can choose to play as either the classic hero Mega Man, who utilizes his traditional slide and charge shot abilities, or his rival Bass, who features a unique dash, double-jump, and the ability to rapid-fire in multiple directions. The objective is to defeat King’s eight Robot Masters and navigate challenging stages. The default SNES controls map the D-pad to movement, with the action buttons handling jumping and shooting (typically mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys along with Z, X, and Enter for Start).

When playing as Bass, use his double-jump to your advantage during tricky platforming sections. Focus on learning boss attack patterns, and remember that defeating Robot Masters grants special weapons which exploit the weaknesses of other bosses.
