RoboCop 2 is a side-scrolling action platformer for the NES, originally released in Japan in 1991. Based on the film of the same name, players take control of Murphy as he patrols the streets to take down the distributor of a new designer drug called “Nuke”, as well as the cyborg Cain. The game features run-and-gun combat, platforming challenges, and various weapon upgrades to help clean up the city.
How to Play
Your objective is to navigate through each level, defeating enemies and bosses while managing your health and ammunition. For the NES browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move and aim, Z to jump, and X to shoot. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
- Take your time when moving through levels. Enemies often spawn from off-screen or from windows above, so advancing slowly gives you more time to react.
- Conserve your special ammunition. Standard bullets are infinite, but more powerful weapon pick-ups have limited ammo and should be saved for tougher enemies or bosses.
- Watch out for hazardous environments. Many stages have tricky platforming sections with pitfalls or slime that can instantly drain your health.
