Based on the popular MTV game show, Remote Control is a trivia title published by Hi-Tech Expressions and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. Players test their knowledge of pop culture, music, television, and movies by buzzing in to answer multiple-choice questions. You can play solo against the computer or challenge up to two friends in local multiplayer, competing across familiar rounds from the show including the Snack Break and the final Think Real Fast round.
How to Play
The objective is to finish the game with the highest score by correctly answering trivia questions. Choose a category by changing the channel on the TV, then buzz in quickly when you know the answer. For this browser-based NES version, use the Arrow Keys to navigate menus and select categories. Press Z or X (A and B buttons) to buzz in and confirm your answers, and use Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
Questions are heavily focused on 1980s television and pop culture, so brushing up on that era will give you a significant advantage. If you are unsure of an answer during the main rounds, remember that incorrect guesses will deduct points from your score.
