Pressure Cooker is a fast food action game published by Activision for the Atari 2600 in 1983. You play as a chef working a burger kitchen where ingredients drop continuously from above: your job is to catch each one, stack them in the correct order, and throw the finished burger to the right pick-up window before the conveyor overwhelms you. The difficulty climbs steadily, making anticipation as important as reflexes.
How to Play
Catch falling ingredients — buns, patties, and toppings — and build the burger matching the current order. The sequence matters: ingredients must go on in the right combination or the burger won’t count. Once complete, throw it to the pick-up window that corresponds to the order. Delivering to the wrong window or letting ingredients pile up on the floor costs points. Each stage increases the pace.

Tips
- Reposition before the ingredient lands, not after — at higher speeds there is no time to adjust once the drop begins.
- Check which window the current order belongs to before you throw; a wrong delivery is harder to recover from than a missed catch.
- When several ingredients are in the air at once, focus on completing one burger cleanly rather than chasing everything on screen.
