Game description:

OverKill is a fast-paced, vertical-scrolling action shooter released for DOS by Epic MegaGames in 1992. It drops you into the cockpit of a starfighter, challenging you to blast through dense waves of hostile alien ships and environmental hazards across several distinct planets.

How to play

Guide your ship through vertical levels, destroying enemy formations while collecting power-ups to upgrade your weapons, speed, and shields. The game uses standard DOS keyboard controls; use the arrow keys to maneuver your ship and the spacebar or Alt key to fire.

Tips

Focus on dodging incoming fire and surviving rather than trying to destroy every single enemy, as the screen can quickly fill with hazards. Grab weapon upgrades as soon as they appear, because maintaining high firepower is essential for clearing a safe path through heavier waves.
