Operation Wolf is a classic 1989 first-person light-gun shooter brought to the NES by Taito. Players take on the role of a lone Special Forces operative tasked with infiltrating enemy territory to rescue five hostages held in heavily guarded camps.
How to Play
The objective is to survive six intense stagesโranging from the Jungle to the Concentration Camp and Airportโby shooting enemy soldiers, helicopters, and armored vehicles while carefully avoiding civilian casualties. On the NES emulator, use the D-pad (Arrow Keys) to move your crosshair, the A button (Z key) to fire your machine gun, and the B button (X key) to launch your limited supply of rocket grenades.
Tips
- Shoot the animals! Firing at pigs and chickens will often cause them to drop extra ammunition and health-restoring items.
- Conserve your rocket grenades for heavily armored targets like helicopters and tanks, which can quickly deplete your health if left unchecked.
- Check your fire when hostages and civilians run across the screen; shooting them will directly penalize your health bar.
