Operation Wolf is a classic first-person military shooter developed by Taito and brought to the NES in 1989. You step into the boots of a lone Special Forces operative dropped deep behind enemy lines, fighting through heavily armed hostile territory to rescue a group of captive hostages.
How to Play
Your objective is to survive six intense stages by clearing out waves of enemy soldiers, patrol boats, and helicopters while avoiding civilian casualties. Though the arcade original featured a mounted Uzi, this NES port is fully playable with a standard controller. In the browser, use the arrow keys to move your targeting crosshair, press Z to fire your machine gun, and use X to launch a screen-clearing grenade. Press Enter to start.
Tips
Ammunition and grenades are strictly limited. Keep a close watch for magazines, grenade icons, and health-restoring potions that appear during the firefight, and shoot them to restock. Prioritize heavy targets like armored cars and helicopters as soon as they appear, as they will quickly drain your health bar if allowed to attack.
