Released by SETA Corporation in 1994, Nosferatu is a cinematic action-platformer for the SNES that trades traditional vampire-hunting weapons for brutal hand-to-hand combat. Playing as a young martial artist navigating a dangerous, trap-filled castle to rescue his captive girlfriend, you must rely on fluid, rotoscoped animations and deliberate, weighty movement akin to Prince of Persia rather than fast-paced arcade action.
How to play
Your objective is to reach the end of each stage before the timer runs out, defeating monsters and avoiding lethal traps along the way. Combat relies on executing punches, kicks, and sliding attacks to take down enemies.

Tips
- Collect crystals to power up. Red crystals upgrade your character’s combat moves and combo attacks.
- Movement has momentum and starting/stopping animations. Commit to jumps early and walk carefully when approaching ledges.
- The slide attack is essential for dodging high enemy attacks and quickly closing the distance in combat.
