Game description:

Take control of the high-speed Interceptor hover-car in Night Striker World, a pseudo-3D rail shooter released for arcades in 1989 by Taito. Set against a neon-lit cyberpunk cityscape, players blast through enemy lines and navigate branching stage paths, offering a unique blend of fast-paced action and replayability akin to classic arcade racers.

How to Play
Pilot the Interceptor through incoming enemy fire and environmental hazards while shooting down targets. The default web emulator controls for arcade titles map movement to the Arrow keys, allowing you to dodge and steer, while the Z and X keys are used for your primary weapons.

Tips

  • Pay close attention to the branching paths at the end of each stage; trying different routes will lead to completely different environments and endings.
  • Keep moving in wide circular motions to avoid tracking fire, as enemies will often aim at your current position rather than where you are going.
