Nigel Mansell’s World Championship Challenge is a classic Formula One racing game released for the NES in 1993. Developed by Gremlin Graphics, it puts you in the cockpit of a Williams-Renault as you race against some of the biggest names from the 1992 F1 season across international circuits.
How to play: Your objective is to compete in individual races or complete the entire season to win the championship. Use the D-pad to steer your car, press A to accelerate, and use B to brake. In your web browser, these NES controls map to the arrow keys for steering, Z to accelerate, and X to brake.
Tips: Take advantage of the slipstream by driving directly behind opponents on straightaways for a speed boost before overtaking. When approaching tight corners, let go of the accelerator or quickly tap the brake to avoid spinning out onto the grass and losing valuable time.
