Game description:

Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra is a classic first-person, grid-based RPG released for the SNES in 1995. You guide a party of six adventurers on a quest to save the Isles of Terra from destruction by unearthing the secrets of the legendary wizard Corak and his nemesis.

How to Play

Your objective is to explore towns, dungeons, and the overworld, battling monsters and completing quests to strengthen your party. The SNES version uses the D-pad to move and turn your party through the grid-based environments. You interact, cast spells, and manage your extensive inventory using the action buttons. The game is playable directly in your browser with default SNES keyboard controls (Arrow keys for the D-pad, Z/X/S/A for A/B/X/Y, and Enter/Shift for Start/Select).

Tips

  • Create a balanced party containing both sturdy melee fighters and magic users (such as a Cleric for healing and a Sorcerer for offensive spells).
  • Use the “Mr. Wizard” feature in an emergency to safely teleport your party back to the starting town of Fountain Head, though it will cost you a significant amount of experience points.
  • Search every wall and keep careful track of your coordinates, as the massive world is filled with hidden paths and valuable secrets.
