Released by Electronic Arts in 1994, Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City is a side-scrolling action platformer for the Super Nintendo where you play as the basketball legend on a mission to rescue his kidnapped teammates. How to Play
The goal is to navigate each maze-like level, defeat enemies, and collect keys to unlock the cells holding the captive players. Use the Arrow keys to move, Z to jump, and X to throw basketballs. You can switch between any special elemental balls you have collectedโsuch as fire, ice, and iron ballsโusing the A and S keys. Throughout the stages, you will find backboards; jumping near them and pressing the throw button lets you slam dunk to reveal hidden items or open new paths.

- Save your limited special basketballs, especially the homing and freeze balls, for boss fights and crowded areas.
- Dunk on every hoop you find; many contain essential health-restoring items and extra lives, and some are required to trigger switches to progress through the level.
