Master Builder is a memory-based puzzle game released by Spectravision for the Atari 2600 in 1983. Instead of testing your reflexes, it challenges your recall by displaying a building blueprint for only a few seconds before hiding it. You must then accurately construct the structure from memory in the town of Spectraville while dodging hazards.
How to play
Study the blueprint carefully at the start of each stage. Once it disappears, move around to collect bricks and rebuild the design exactly as shown. Use the magic ladder to reach upper floors, but watch out for the wandering Spectradog. The challenge lies in remembering the layout and placing bricks without getting yourself stuck.

Tips
- Focus on the foundation: Memorize the base width and gaps first, as placing the wrong bottom layer will ruin your entire structure.
- Mind your placement: The game allows you to easily block your own path with bricks. Always leave an exit route to the ladder while building.
