Developed by Sega and released for the Sega Master System in 1986, this compilation cartridge bundles three classic light gun shooters into a single experience. Originally included with the Light Phaser peripheral in Europe, the collection features the precision target practice of Marksman Shooting, the clay pigeon trials of Trap Shooting, and the classic arcade action of Safari Hunt.
How to Play
In the browser emulator, the original Light Phaser controls are mapped to your mouse. Simply move the mouse to aim your crosshair and left-click to fire. In Marksman Shooting and Trap Shooting, your goal is to hit a set number of targets or clay pigeons to qualify for the next round. Safari Hunt requires you to shoot various animals moving across the screen, scoring enough points to meet the quota before you run out of ammunition.
Tips
- In Safari Hunt, prioritize faster, smaller targets like birds and bats; they appear briefly but yield significantly higher points than slower animals on the ground.
- During Trap Shooting, aim slightly ahead of the clay pigeons’ flight path rather than directly at them to account for their speed and arc.
- Conserve your shots in Safari Huntโrapid firing will quickly deplete your limited ammunition before you can reach the required score threshold.
