Little Nemo: The Dream Master is an inventive action platformer developed by Capcom for the NES in 1990. Based on the animated film Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, the game tasks you with navigating surreal dream worlds to find the keys needed to unlock the exit of each stage. Rather than relying on traditional combat, Nemo explores by feeding candy to various animals, allowing him to ride them and use their unique abilities to overcome obstacles.
How to Play
Your objective in each stage is to explore the level and collect all the hidden keys required to unlock the final door. Use the arrow keys to move, the X key (A button) to jump, and the Z key (B button) to throw candy at animals or use their specific attacks. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
- You must hit an animal with three pieces of candy to put it to sleep before you can ride it or use its abilities.
- Each animal has a specific purpose: the Frog can jump high and float, the Mole digs through soft dirt, and the Gorilla can punch enemies and climb trees.
- You cannot swim on your own. If a level has water, you will need to find a suitable animal, like the Frog or the Lizard, to safely cross.
