Game description:

Little Master: Nijiiro no Maseki is a tactical role-playing game developed by Zener Works and published by Tokuma Shoten for the Super Famicom (SNES) in 1995. The third entry in the Little Master series brings the franchise to 16-bit hardware with vibrant anime-style visuals and a lighthearted fantasy setting. You command a growing army of heroes and monsters across grid-based battlefields, engaging in turn-based strategic combat to defeat enemy forces.

How to play

Direct your units across the map to attack enemies, complete objectives, and recruit new characters. The default Super Nintendo controls in the browser are mapped to your keyboard: use the arrow keys to navigate the grid and menus, Z (A button) to confirm actions, and X (B button) to cancel. The A and S keys map to the X and Y buttons for additional commands, while Enter (Start) opens the main menu.

Tips

  • Position your units on favorable terrain, like forests or mountains, to gain defensive bonuses against enemy attacks.
  • Take time to visit every town and structure on the map before finishing a battle, as they often provide useful items or new party members.
  • Keep your fragile magic users and healers positioned safely behind your front-line fighters to protect them from direct damage.
