Released for the SNES in 1993 by Ocean Software, this action-adventure title drops you into the shoes of Dr. Alan Grant immediately following the catastrophic system failure on Isla Nublar. Blending a top-down perspective for outdoor exploration with intense first-person segments inside the park’s buildings, the game challenges you to navigate the island, restore critical systems, and survive encounters with roaming dinosaurs.
How to play
Your ultimate goal is to collect all the dinosaur eggs scattered across the island, reboot the main computer networks, and safely escape via helicopter. You will need to find ID cards dropped by Dennis Nedry to access secure areas while fending off raptors, dilophosaurus, and a relentless T-Rex.

Tips
- Ammunition is strictly limited, so use the cattle prod to stun smaller dinosaurs and conserve your firearms for deadlier encounters indoors.
- Motion sensors in the top-down view will alert you to approaching predators before they appear on screenโkeep an eye on the HUD.
- The game lacks a built-in save or password feature, so be prepared for a long playthrough and memorize the layout of the island.
