Game description:

Jurassic Park is Ocean Software’s 1993 NES action game, a tie-in to Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster film. Playing as Dr. Alan Grant, you navigate the island from an overhead perspective, fighting off Velociraptors and other escaped dinosaurs across the grounds of the failed theme park.

How to Play

Move Grant with the arrow keys. X fires your weapon (NES A button); Z is the secondary action (NES B button). Enter starts and pauses the game; Shift is Select. Threats arrive from every direction in the overhead view, so staying mobile and watching your flanks is the core skill.

Tips

  • Velociraptors are fast and persistent — always leave yourself a clear retreat before engaging, and never back into a wall.
  • Use the overhead view to read open ground ahead before committing to a path; the information advantage over your enemies is the best tool you have.
