Jackie Chan stage select hack is a useful ROM hack for the classic NES action-platformer Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu. How to Play
Your goal is to defeat enemies and navigate through the platforming stages. As this is an NES title, default browser controls map the D-pad to the arrow keys, with the A and B buttons mapped to Z and X respectively, and Start/Select mapped to Enter/Shift.
To use the stage select feature: on the title screen, press the B button 8 times, then press Start. Use Up or Down on the D-pad to scroll through the available stages, and press the A button to confirm your selection.
Tips
- Collect the green orbs dropped by defeated frogs to unlock special moves like the spinning kick or the tornado attack.
- Since you can select any stage, use this hack to practice some of the tougher late-game platforming sections and boss fights without having to restart from the beginning.
