Invaders 1978 is a single-player action shooter developed by James Eibisch and released for DOS in 1996. Created as a compact homage to classic arcade space shooters, the game challenges players to fend off descending waves of alien enemies.
The objective is to clear each screen of alien invaders before they reach the bottom, while avoiding their incoming fire. Use the arrow keys to move your ship left and right, and press the Spacebar or Ctrl key to shoot.
