Game description:

Ikinari Musician is a unique music software tool released for the Famicom (NES) in 1987 by Musical Plan and published by Tokyo Shoseki. Unlike traditional games with objectives or levels, it functions as a digital synthesizer that turns the console into a sandbox for composing and playing music. Originally a Japan-exclusive release, it allows players to experiment with a variety of instruments, background rhythms, and visual effects to create their own musical sequences.

How to Play

The software features an on-screen keyboard interface where you can input notes, select from various pre-loaded tracks representing different locations and genres, and adjust musical settings. You can also record your sequences and play them back. For standard NES emulation in the browser, use the Arrow Keys to navigate the interface, Z and X for the A and B buttons to select options and play notes, and Enter or Shift for Start and Select.
