Head-On Soccer is a fast-paced arcade soccer game developed by U.S. Gold and released for the SNES in 1995. Known in Europe as Fever Pitch Soccer, it steps away from strict simulation to offer aggressive action on the pitch. You can choose from over 50 international teams and use special abilities like super shots and curve shots to dominate the competition in Tournament or Exhibition modes.
How to Play
The objective is to outscore your opponent before time runs out. By default for SNES games in the browser, movement is mapped to the arrow keys. Use the Z and X keys to pass, shoot, or tackle (corresponding to the A and B buttons), and Enter or Shift for Start and Select.
Tips
- Use Star Players: Each team has “star players” with unique abilities, such as a devastating super shot or extreme speed. Learn who they are and feed them the ball.
- Aggressive Defense: The game’s lenient refereeing means you can rely on slide tackles to regain possession, so don’t hesitate to play physically.
