Gun.Smoke is a Wild West-themed vertical scrolling shooter developed by Capcom and released for the NES in 1987. You play as a bounty hunter fighting through frontier towns to take down dangerous outlaws. Rather than piloting a spaceship, you control a gunslinger on foot, using a unique multidirectional shooting system to clear out enemies approaching from all sides.
How to play
Survive the scrolling stages and defeat the boss outlaw at the end of each town. Your character fires in three different directions based on your button inputs: pressing the left action button shoots diagonally left, the right action button shoots diagonally right, and pressing both together fires straight ahead.

Tips
- Shoot barrels to find the horse power-up, which acts as armor and allows you to absorb extra hits before losing a life.
- You cannot face the stage boss until you possess their Wanted poster, which can be uncovered in barrels or purchased from townsfolk.
- Master the dual-button straight shot (X and Z together) early, as many enemies will attack you directly from above.
