Fudou Myouou Den (also known as The Acala Legend) is a fast-paced action platformer developed by Taito and released for the Famicom in 1988. Often recognized as the predecessor to or the original Japanese version of Demon Sword, this release features more levels, varied items, and deeper magic mechanics than its localized counterpart. This version includes the English fan translation by Stardust Crusaders, allowing you to experience the complete original game. How to Play

Your objective is to navigate through multi-tiered stages, defeat enemies, and face the boss at the end of each area to progress. The game relies on standard NES controls, mapped to your keyboard in the browser: use the Arrow keys to move and crouch, Z to attack, and X to jump. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.

Tips

• Master the Jump: Your character has an incredibly high, floaty jump. Use this to your advantage to evade projectiles and quickly scale the tall environments, but be careful not to leap blindly into enemies off-screen.
