Game description:

The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock is a unique 1994 action platformer developed by Taito for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game stands out by blending traditional 2D side-scrolling levels with a world map structured like a board game. Players roll dice to move Fred and Barney across the map, encountering short action stages, minigames, boss fights, and shops depending on the space they land on.

How to Play

Your objective is to find the legendary Treasure of Sierra Madrock. The board game sections require you to roll numbered rocks to progress. When you land on an action space, the game switches to a platforming level where you use the D-pad to move, the B button to jump, and the Y button to swing your club and defeat enemies.

Tips

Beware of spaces occupied by Wilma and Betty! If you land on a space with your character’s wife, she will drag you back to a previous spot on the map, costing you valuable progress. Try to aim for spaces with minigames, as they offer chances to win helpful items that can give you an edge in the action stages.
