Developed by Capcom in 1985, Exed Exes is a fast-paced vertical shooter for the NES that pits you against endless swarms of giant insectoid enemies and mechanical bosses. You control a flying ship through scrolling sci-fi landscapes, dodging dense bullet patterns and destroying enemies to rack up high scores.
How to play
Your objective is to survive as long as possible by shooting down waves of insectoids and giant skull fortresses. Maneuver your ship and fire your primary weapon using the controls below. When the screen becomes overwhelmed with enemy fire, you can trigger a “Crash” attack (bomb) to clear all projectiles.

Tips
- Focus on managing screen space; stay near the bottom to give yourself maximum time to react to incoming enemy patterns.
- Don’t hesitate to use your Crash attack defensively. It’s better to burn a bomb to survive a dense cluster of bullets than to lose a ship.
- Collect the Pow icons revealed by shooting certain enemies to upgrade your firepower and increase your chances of survival against tougher waves.
