Game description:

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is a 1994 fighting game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), developed by Virgin Interactive and based on the biographical film. Players control Bruce Lee as he fights through key moments of his life and career, culminating in a battle against his metaphorical inner demon, the Phantom, in one-on-one martial arts combat.

How to Play

The objective is to defeat each opponent by depleting their health bar. As you land strikes and block attacks, your Chi meter fills. Once the meter is full, Bruce enters a powered-up state where he can wield nunchaku for increased range and damage. For browser play, the SNES controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow Keys to move and jump, Z, X, A, and S for punches and kicks, Enter for Start, and Shift for Select.

Tips

  • Use the Nunchaku wisely: Your Chi meter gives you a temporary advantage. Save your nunchaku strikes for moments when the opponent is vulnerable to maximize damage before the meter depletes.
  • Prioritize blocking: Enemies are aggressive and will exploit openings. Use defensive blocks to create windows for counter-attacks rather than simply mashing attack buttons.
  • Mind the Phantom: In the final battle, the Phantom is exceptionally fast and can regenerate health. Stay aggressive but disciplined, and don’t let him create distance.
