Dragon Saber is a vertical scrolling shooter released for the Arcade by Namco in 1990, serving as the direct sequel to the classic Dragon Spirit. How to Play
Your objective is to survive waves of enemies and defeat the challenging bosses at the end of each stage, collecting power-ups to enhance your dragon’s abilities. In this browser arcade emulator, navigate using the arrow keys. Press Z to fire your primary breath attacks at aerial foes, and press X to drop bombs on ground-based targets. Press Shift to insert a coin, then Enter to start the game.
Tips
- Collect the colored orbs dropped by specific enemies to upgrade your attack; different colors provide different firing patterns, such as wide spreads or concentrated beams.
- If you stop firing for a moment, your dragon will begin to glow. Once fully charged, pressing the fire button unleashes a devastating, homing projectile that is incredibly useful against tough enemies and bosses.
- Pay close attention to ground targets. Taking them out with your bomb attack often reveals hidden power-ups and bonus points.
