Dr. Sbaitso is a classic artificial intelligence simulation created by Creative Technology for DOS in 1991. Originally designed to showcase the text-to-speech capabilities of early Sound Blaster sound cards, the program takes on the role of a digital psychologist. You can converse with the “doctor” by typing out your thoughts, questions, or problems, and it will respond to you.
How to play
Use your keyboard to type sentences and press Enter to talk to the doctor. The AI will respond with on-screen text and read its answers aloud using its signature robotic voice. For full-screen, press Right Alt + Enter.
Tips
Try swearing or asking it repetitive questions to trigger some of its more amusing, frustrated reactions. You can also type “say” followed by a word or phrase to make the doctor repeat your text back to you.
