Doki! Doki! Yuuenchi (Thump! Thump! Amusement Park) is a quirky side-scrolling platformer developed by KID and released for the Famicom in 1991. Later reskinned in Europe as The Trolls in Crazyland, the original Japanese version features a helmet-wearing boy navigating a bizarre amusement park to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. You battle through the park’s attractions by kicking balls at a variety of strange enemies.

How to Play

Your objective is to reach the end of each amusement park stage and defeat the boss to progress. The controls use the standard NES layout: move with the D-pad, jump with the A button, and attack by kicking balls with the B button. In the browser emulator, these map to the arrow keys, X for A, and Z for B.

Tips

• Embrace the damage: The game features a unique power-up system where your attacks actually become stronger and shoot multiple projectiles as your health decreases.
