Game description:

Dirty Pair – Project Eden is an action game released exclusively in Japan for the Famicom Disk System in 1987 by Bandai, playable here as an NES title. Based on the classic anime franchise, players control the “Lovely Angels” Yuri and Kei through four notoriously difficult stages. The gameplay alternates between two distinct styles: traditional side-scrolling platforming where you blast enemies with laser guns, and top-down dungeon-crawling mazes where you must search rooms for keycards.

How to play: Use the D-pad (mapped to your arrow keys) to move. Press the A button (Z) to jump and the B button (X) to shoot; Start (Enter) and Select (Shift) handle the menus. In the side-scrolling stages, survive the obstacles to reach the end. In the maze stages, you must systematically explore rooms to collect eight hidden keycards before the final door will open. The game features one-hit deaths and limited continues, so play carefully.

Tips: The ending you receive is based on your shooting accuracy (the ratio of shots fired to enemies hit), so make every shot count rather than firing wildly. During the maze sequences, move deliberately and try to map out the rooms mentally, as the confusing layouts and constantly respawning enemies can quickly drain your lives.
