Game description:

Dirty Pair: Project Eden is a 1987 sci-fi action game developed by Daiei Seisakusho and published by Bandai for the Famicom Disk System (playable here as an NES title). Based on the popular anime franchise, this challenging adventure lets players control the iconic “Lovely Angels,” Kei and Yuri, in a unique blend of gameplay styles. Rather than sticking to one genre, the game ambitiously alternates between traditional side-scrolling run-and-gun segments and overhead, maze-like exploration stages.

How to Play

The game is split into two distinct modes. In the side-scrolling action stages, your objective is to survive waves of enemies and obstacles, occasionally piloting a hoverbike. In the overhead maze stages, you must navigate complex rooms and find eight floppy disks to unlock the exit. The game supports two-player simultaneous co-op, with player one controlling Kei and player two controlling Yuri. Use the D-pad (Arrow Keys) to move, the A button (X) to jump or interact, and the B button (Z) to shoot.

Tips for Success

Accuracy matters in this game; your shooting precision is tracked and actually determines which of the multiple endings you will receive, so try not to fire recklessly. In the maze stages, it is highly recommended to map out your route mentally or on paper, as wandering aimlessly will quickly drain your health against the relentless enemy spawns.
