Date de Blackjack is a Japan-only, unlicensed Famicom Disk System release from Hacker International, published in 1990. Its full Japanese title, Hayama Reiko no Date de Blackjack, names the dealer you’re playing against: winning hands of blackjack against Hayama Reiko unlocks a striptease sequence, the hook that put it in Hacker International’s line of adult card games rather than a straightforward casino sim. Like the rest of that unlicensed catalogue, it never had an official Nintendo release and reached players through Disk Writer kiosks rather than retail shelves.
How to Play
The card rules are ordinary blackjack: draw cards and try to beat the dealer’s total without going over 21. Use the D-pad to move through the betting and hit/stand menus, A to confirm a choice, and B to back out; Start begins a new hand. In the browser here, that’s the arrow keys, Z, X, and Enter/Shift.
