Crayon Shin-chan: Ora to Poi Poi is a real-time puzzle game released in 1993 for the NES by Bandai. Though officially part of the Datach Joint ROM System add-on, it uniquely requires no barcode scanning to play. Instead, you face off in fast-paced competitive puzzle matches, taking control of Shin-chan to slide cards from the edges of the board into a central pile.
How to Play
The objective is to clear your cards by matching symbols, which pushes the central card stacks toward your opponent’s goal to overwhelm them. In the browser, use the Arrow Keys to move Shin-chan around the perimeter of the play area and the Z and X keys (mapped to the NES A and B buttons) to grab and slide cards into the matching stacks. Press Enter to start the game.
Tips
- Keep moving constantly along the edges to find the cards you need, as speed is critical for pushing the stack into your opponent’s zone.
- Watch the center pile closelyโmatching multiple symbols in quick succession will create a stronger push against your rival.
