Dash Yarou is the 1990 Famicom release of Toaplan’s top-down arcade racing game, Rally Bike. In this cross-country motorcycle racer, players must navigate through busy highways and winding roads across the United States, competing against rival bikers while actively dodging civilian traffic and obstacles.
How to Play
Your objective is to reach the finish line of each stage before your fuel runs out, while also passing a required number of competitor vehicles to qualify for the next round. You can replenish your fuel by carefully pulling into gas stations scattered along the route.
- D-Pad Left/Right: Steer your motorcycle.
- A Button (Z on keyboard): Accelerate. Hold Up + A for maximum speed.
- B Button (X on keyboard): Brake.
- Enter/Shift: Start/Select.
Tips
- Manage your fuel: Missing a gas station can end your race early. Keep an eye on your gauge and prepare to maneuver into the pumps when they appear.
- Watch your speed: While going fast is important to pass rivals, approaching intersections and hazards at top speed can lead to unavoidable crashes. Don’t be afraid to use the brake.
