ClayFighter 2: Judgment Clay is a 1995 2D fighting game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. As the sequel to the original ClayFighter, it continues the series’ unique visual style using digitized stop-motion clay animation models. Players can choose from a roster of eccentric fighters, battling it out with a mix of standard attacks, comedic special moves, and exaggerated finishing techniques.
How to Play
The objective is to defeat your opponent in a best-of-three rounds fighting match by depleting their health bar. You can play against the computer in a single-player tournament or challenge a friend in two-player versus mode.
Controls: By default, Super Nintendo games map the D-pad to the arrow keys for movement, jumping, and crouching. The action buttons (A, B, X, Y) are mapped to Z, X, A, and S, while the shoulder buttons (L, R) are Q and W. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
- Experiment with the attack buttons to discover the unique special moves for each character. Many specials are executed using standard fighting game motions, like rolling the directional pad forward or backward before pressing an attack button.
- Holding back on the directional pad away from your opponent will guard against most incoming attacks, reducing the damage you take.
