CD-Man is a vibrant Pac-Man clone published for DOS in 1989 by Creative Dimensions. Unlike the plain black backgrounds of traditional maze-chase games, this version stands out with its high-resolution, colourful EGA graphics and distinct visual themes for each world. You guide the character through the maze, gobbling up all the dots while dodging wandering enemies to progress to the next stage.

How to play

Your objective is to clear the board of dots without being caught. Pick up energy pills to temporarily turn the tables and eat your pursuers, or grab speed boosts for an extra advantage. The game uses the Arrow Keys to move and the Space Bar to pause. For fullscreen play in the browser, press Right Alt + Enter.

Tips

In addition to the standard maze-chase mechanics, keep an eye out for speed items. Using a speed boost when enemies are closing in can save a run. Since the game is known for having a steep difficulty curve, take advantage of the slower speed settings if you find the faster enemy patterns too punishing to learn.
