Casino is a 1978 card game collection developed and published by Atari, Inc. for the Atari 2600. It brings the casino experience to the console with variations of Blackjack, five-card Stud Poker, and Solitaire. Up to four players can join in to place bets from their virtual bankrolls and try to break the bank.

How to play

The rules follow their real-world counterparts: get as close to 21 as possible without going over in Blackjack, form the highest-ranking hand in Poker, or clear the deck in Solitaire. The game originally used paddle controllers to place bets and select cards. Use the Arrow Keys to navigate your options, the Spacebar to confirm selections, and F11 to cycle through the different game modes. You can toggle between paddle and joystick control modes by pressing Alt+L.

Tips

In Blackjack, the dealer must hit on 16 and stand on 17. If the dealer is showing a weak card like a 5 or 6, consider standing on lower totals and letting them bust.
The game supports up to four players in certain modes, making it much more unpredictable when betting in Poker against human opponents instead of the computer.
