Released by Taito in 1994 for the SNES, Bust-A-Move (also known as Puzzle Bobble) is a fast-paced, color-matching puzzle game starring the dragons Bub and Bob. Instead of traditional falling blocks, players control a launcher at the bottom of the screen to shoot bubbles upward, aiming to match colors and clear the board before the descending ceiling crushes them.
How to play
The objective is to clear all bubbles from the screen by shooting and matching three or more of the same color. Aim carefully and use the walls to bounce bubbles into hard-to-reach spots. If the bubbles cross the bottom line, the game is over.

Tips
- Use the walls: Bank your shots off the side walls to slip bubbles into tight gaps that you cannot hit directly.
- Cut them off at the stem: Look for large clusters of bubbles hanging from a single color link. Popping the top link will drop all the attached bubbles underneath at once.
- Watch the ceiling: The ceiling will drop down one notch after you shoot a certain number of bubbles. Don’t waste shots.
