In this 1992 DOS arcade platformer by Codemasters Software, Dizzy has been thrown off a pirate ship and must ride a stream of rising bubbles to escape the ocean floor. Unlike the adventure games in the main series, Bubble Dizzy focuses entirely on fast-paced vertical platforming as you leap across fragile, temporary bubbles toward the surface.

How to play

Your objective is to reach the top of each level before your oxygen meter runs out. Use the arrow keys to move and Space or Enter to jump. Along the way, you must collect oxygen canisters to survive while avoiding sea creatures like sharks and octopuses. Gathering pearls will earn you bonus points at the end of the stage.

Tips

Don’t linger: Bubbles burst shortly after you land on them. Always look for your next jump while you are still in the air.
Prioritise oxygen: It is easy to get greedy for pearls, but running out of air is the most common way to fail. Plan your route around the air canisters.
