Bishoujo Kachinuki Renju – Gomoku Narabe is an unlicensed Japanese release for the NES that brings the classic strategy board game of Gomoku to the console.

How to play

The objective of Gomoku is to outsmart your opponent and be the first to place five stones in an unbroken line horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. On the NES, you use the D-pad to move your cursor across the board and press the A button to place a piece. When playing in the browser, these controls map to the arrow keys for movement, Z or X for the A and B buttons, and Enter or Shift for Start and Select.
