Bird Week is an action game developed by Lenar and published by Toshiba EMI in 1986 for the Famicom (NES). In this early nature-themed title, you control a mother bird tasked with keeping her chicks alive by feeding them across alternating seasons.
How to play
Your objective is to catch butterflies mid-flight and return them to the nest to feed your chicks. You must feed them continuously so they do not starve, while avoiding mid-air collisions with hawks, flying squirrels, and other woodland predators. Once the chicks have eaten enough, they will safely leave the nest and you will advance to the next level.

Tips
- Your bird flies continuously and only stops when landing on the ground or in the nest; anticipate your movements to avoid crashing into enemies.
- You can occasionally pick up mushrooms from the ground and drop them onto predators to temporarily disable them.
- Prioritize catching butterflies that flutter close to the nest to reduce travel time and minimize your risk of getting hit.
