Play the original 1987 NES release of Athena, a challenging action platformer developed by SNK. How to Play
Your objective is to reach the end of each stage before the timer runs out, defeating enemies and bosses along the way. In the browser, use the Arrow keys to move, duck, and climb. Press Z to jump and X to attack. Use Enter to start the game or pause, and Shift for Select.
Tips
- Break the destructible blocks scattered throughout the levels; they contain essential weapon upgrades like clubs, swords, and projectile items, as well as armor pieces.
- Your armor can break after taking damage. Try to avoid hits and replace broken gear whenever possible, as Athena is very vulnerable without it.
