Air-Sea Battle is a 1977 multi-game shooter for the Atari 2600, and one of the nine launch titles Atari, Inc. released alongside the console. The cartridge packs 27 game variations across six distinct modes — Anti-Aircraft, Torpedo, Shooting Gallery, Bomber, Polaris, and Torpedo Run — each placing you in a different gunner role with its own targets, movement rules, and scoring system.
How to Play
Before starting, press F11 (SELECT) to cycle to the variation you want — the number shown on screen corresponds to one of the 27 options. Press F12 (RESET) to begin. In every mode the goal is the same: hit as many moving targets as possible before the timer runs out.

Tips
- In Anti-Aircraft mode, lead your shots — position your gun ahead of the plane’s path rather than directly below it.
- In Shooting Gallery, the targets follow a predictable pattern; time your shots rather than chasing the target across the screen.
- Most variations support two simultaneous players: Player 1 uses the arrow keys + Spacebar, Player 2 uses T/G/F/H + A.
